Shopping in Vienna
Don’t be fooled by fancy brands in my photos. I don’t usually shop at places like Gucci or Prada unless there’s a special occasion, like a birthday. I prefer the convenience of online shopping from home, especially when I don’t feel like dealing with crowds, like on Saturdays when stores are packed. I like sites like Bonprix, Asos, Zara, or Massimo Dutti.
In Vienna, popular shopping streets include Mariahilferstrasse, Neubaugasse, Kärntner Straße, and the luxury Golden Quarter downtown. But there are also great shops in less known areas like the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th districts.
With summer coming, I’m feeling the urge for a wardrobe makeover. I’m tempted to toss out all my old clothes and get some fresh pieces. Sometimes you just want to start fresh.
My advice? It’s better to have fewer but beautiful items than a bunch of useless ones. Aim for quality over quantity.

April 27, 2015 at 9:45 am (10 years ago)I totally agree, recently I did a Spring cleaning and got rid of everything I hadn’t worn recently. Still plan to get rid of more stuff though in the next couple of months. No point in a full wardrobe if I only wear a fraction of the clothes 🙂
