Marrakech travel tips

Nowdays there is so much content out there. If you google Marrakech travel tips, you will find at least 10 other blog posts with pretty much the same content haha. My thoughts about this: I don’t want to let that stop me from doing what I am doing. I will keep on doing it, for the pleasure of doing it. Also, Marrakech travel tips may be more or less the same, but photos won’t be the same! So here are MY Marrakech travel tips. I made a list for you without a lot of wordiness! Enjoy!

Marrakech in January

It’s not by chance that I’ve chosen Marrakech as to be the first city to visit this year.

Marrakech in January

There is something about this city that wakes up my senses, makes me feel alive!

Marrakech in January

I consider January to be the worst month of the year because of the freezing cold that is all over Europe. Walking around Marrakech in January without having to wear heavy coats, gloves and scarf was pure bliss.

Marrakech in January

God bless all the warm places on earth that you can visit in January.

Marrakech. First trip of the year.

Two years passed by since the last time I visited Marrakech. I missed it soooo much.

At the beginning of this year, I called my travel partner in crime Polina and told her “Hey, listen. It’s time to go back“. I expressed to her my strong desire to photograph the small riads in the medina.

Riad hopping: from one road to another

After a long discussion, we made a plan that we called: riad hopping. During one week in Marrakech we stayed in three different riads. The first riad we visited was Numa Marrakech.

There is so much to love about Numa Marrakech: the entrance hall, the flowers, the colours of the walls, the breakfast, the fireplace, the selection of the furnitures, the terrace, the people who work there. Let alone the key location which makes wandering in the souks so easy, without having the fear that you will not find your way back to the riad. If you plan to visit Marrakech, it’s worth checking it out.

For those who know me well, know my love for interior design and small boutique hotels.

So happy to be given the chance to photograph all this beauty at Numa Marrakech.
