Stadtpark in Vienna

As you can tell from these photos, not so many people go for a walk in Stadtpark in Viennawhen it’s freezing cold outside. This time, on my walk in Stadtpark I encountered just an Asian tourist couple and few other persons. Of course, there were also the ducks and pigeons, that didn’t seem to be happy with that cold either. When in summer people lay down on the grass and you can hardly find a bench which is not occupied, in winter the scenery changes and on days like those we are going through this week, the biggest park in the center of Vienna turns into a wonderland and I absolutely enjoyed my leisurely walk and realized that the park is beautiful anytime of the year.

Extra tip: if you are around there, don’t forget to visit the restaurant Meierei im Stadtpark.

This is what happens when your friends in Vienna are from Italy. They dress you up, they make you up, they take photos of you and they make you look like a model. But, wait! Did I say model? OMG, I am not a model, nor do I have the aspiration to be one. On the contrary! I feel very awkward looking at all those photos of myself all over the internet. But yes, we definitely love being creative and taking pictures that tell a story. And when I say pictures, I mean not only pictures of macaron, cupcakes, and Sacher torte, but also pictures of us too. Hence, for me it is more about taking up a role and creating a story, than modeling.

This blog post is made in Austria by the Italians and it took us half of the day to have the result that you see above. Who said taking nice pictures is easy? Not at all! It takes a lot of time and it is hard work. When we were done, we went to our favourite french bistro downtown Vienna, Le Bol, and we are already thinking of our next photo sessions.
