From Samos with love is a collection of the photos that I took in the last days in different parts on this island, here and there. Consequently, this post includes everything that has to do with my life on this beautiful island and what I’ve seen around.
All the clothing items that are pictured on this post belong to the fashion shop 2 the little store, that my friends Eva&Stella have in Pythagorion. Visiting 2 the little store is one of my Samos travel tips, which I will include in one of the following blog posts, as many of you on Instagram have asked for Samos local tips and recommendations.
In those last days, while I am on holidays, apart from taking photos, it’s hard to find the time to work for The Viennese girl blog (because each blog post usually requires at least 5 hours work), and it’s even harder to find the words to write something down as my mind is totally empty but I guess this is the effect caused by the combination of happy holidays and summer mood. Nothing but love from Samos ♥
On the table of Xpedit in Vienna
A few days before I depart for my holidays, I got to visit this Italian restaurant, called Xpedit, which is in the first district of Vienna, close to Schwedenplatz. While I was there, chatting with a dear friend of mine, I was thinking “hey this must be one of those local restaurants that all tourists are looking for”.
Do you know how many emails I get from people who are visiting Vienna, trying to find non touristic places to go and to eat? They all want to do something that is not considered touristic. So this restaurant is exactly the one. Off the beaten path and highly recommended.
We loved the food, and by saying that, I mean, we literally loved the food. We sat outside and spent about two hours. But then we had to leave because my friend had to get back to her work. But before that, we enjoyed everything on the table: insalata caprese with mozzarella di bufala, delicious risotto and yummy panna cotta.

Where do you like to have your morning coffee in Vienna, if not at home?
Not far away from where I live, there is a cafe called Kaffee von Sascha, which is run by an adorable couple from Ukraine. Kaffee von Sascha is not like the other cafes in Vienna. Sascha is passionate about making coffee for his guests while Nina makes the T-shirts that you will see hanging on the wall and they are both proud and happy to run a concept store that combines coffee & fashion.
Although I went there alone, I felt welcomed and comfortable. While I was chatting with both of them, I took these pictures to share with you on The Viennese Girl blog.
I left the Kaffee von Sascha with a T-shirt that portrays a cute dog and really can’t wait to wear it in my summer holidays in Greece. Don’t forget to visit them if you are in Vienna. I personally loved the table next to window and not only their coffee, but also their strawberry smoothie and all the other delicacies they treated me.

I love Volksgarten Pavillon in Vienna for two personal reasons:
First reason: it reminds me of Samos.
Second reason: this is the place where my best friend in Vienna and I used to catch up during the summer.
Finally the weather is warm again in Vienna, and we can spend some time together sitting outside here. The decoration is a little bit strange. By saying strange, I mean that it has a touch of vintage and it looks a bit untended.
It’s not really a fancy place but it evokes a certain summer mood, summer feeling and a lot of carefreeness. Although it is located in the center of Vienna, near to Hofburg, it seems that it’s not discovered by tourists yet, but after this post I don’t know… 🙂
