My Solo trip to Paris

When people visit Paris, they usually go with friends or family – the romantic notion of Paris is something you share with someone else to make the experience even more special and wonderful. If you’re thinking about visiting Paris by yourself, don’t be scared off by the idea of traveling alone.

The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe—the list of iconic landmarks in Paris goes on and on, making it one of the world’s most visited cities. Add to that the picturesque cafes, historic architecture, and quintessential French bistros, and you have all the ingredients for an amazing trip. But if you are traveling solo, it can seem more daunting than exciting. That’s why I share this blog post on how to make your own trip to Paris incredibly memorable and full of great experiences—all by yourself!

As you prepare for your solo trip to Paris, read my personal experience below to make sure that your trip goes as smoothly as possible.

 My Solo Trip to Paris

Even though I went solo to Paris alone (solo travel in Europe) I never left alone. I received so many emails from people who reside in the city of lights asking me to go for a coffee with them and I was totally ok with this (although this doesn’t mean that it will always be like this).

All by Myself in PARIS

Although I went on a solo trip to Paris, I didn’t really mean to stay alone during my stay. One of the beautiful people I met was Anastasia and Federico from Iheartparis, a young couple who work as lifestyle and wedding photographers in Paris. Initially we went for a coffee in a Parisian cafe (you know, one of those iconic cafes) and then we went for a stroll around Saint Germain and Trocadero.

My Solo trip to Paris: Alone in the City of Love

Paris was everything I dreamed of and more. I spent my days walking around, exploring, and eating all the good food. It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a solo trip.

When you are alone, you are free to do whatever you want, whenever you want. You don’t have to take into account anyone else’s wishes or needs; instead your own desires guide your day-to-day activities. I never felt unsafe or lonely while I was there. And it was nice to spend time with myself after months of being surrounded by people. If you are considering going on a solo trip but are worried about feeling lonely, go! It will be one of the best decisions you ever make!

A Beginner’s Guide to Enjoying a Solo Trip to Paris

Whether you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of your everyday life or simply want to explore a new place by yourself, a solo trip to Paris can be a great way to do it. And what better destination for a solo trip than the romantic city of Paris?

If you’re thinking about taking a trip to Paris by yourself, here’s a beginner’s guide to help you make the most of it.

Remember that you don’t have to do everything alone; you can always partner up with someone, even if it’s just for one day. Start by taking a tour of Paris on foot. There are several self-guided walking tours available and many hostels offer free walking tours as well. You’ll see so much more of Paris when you walk rather than riding in a car or taxi! Check out some museums and galleries too.

Do some shopping at some of Paris’ many markets. It’s fun to browse through everything from clothing and souvenirs to fresh produce and baked goods. Don’t forget to try a crepe while you’re there!

Another great thing about visiting a market on your own is that you don’t have to wait for someone else to go with you. If you want, you can walk around on your own and explore.

I was able to see the city in a whole new light and appreciate it in a way that I never would have if I had been with someone else. If you’re considering a solo trip, go for it! You won’t regret it.
