Watch: “Rebel Spirit” Thomas Sabo – White blazer/grey coat: Oui
Last week while in Paris, I gave myself a photography assignment: to photograph my new Thomas Sabo watch everywhere in the city. Because if not in Paris, then where else? Paris gave me so much inspiration and all those fall colours made me want to shoot non-stop all around the city. The doors, the Parisian bistros, the Seine, the parks…pretty much everything was an ideal background for what I had in my mind. Of course, not all the photos ended up in this blog post. I was strict with my final selections, as always, and only published my favorite shots. I hope you like them because honestly speaking, I do love them; both the photos and my new Thomas Sabo watch. This “rebel spirit” watch from Thomas Sabo is actually a watch for men. But I selected it because I prefer the larger size watches over the smaller ones. Plus, you can also share it with your boyfriend.
Let me tell you a few words on how and where my photo assignment was executed. The first two photos were taken during my visit to Jardin du Luxembourg. The ones that follow were taken at the Pont Marie on our way to the cafe Le Saint Regis. The third photo session was held at the table of the Cafe in front of a variety of French cheese and white wine. And the last two photos were taken at the garden of my favourite restaurant, Ralph Lauren, in Saint Germain. And of course, I need to thank my friend Edisa for the support. I couldn’t have done all this without her.♥

I have been traveling a lot the last few weeks. I actually have been purposely looking for opportunities to travel during the summer because if not in the summer, then when? My first summer trip was to Greece, then to France, and now to Italy. For the Italian trip to Florence, I brought my friend Edisa. This was our second trip together; the first one was in Mykonos earlier this year.
While traveling, I like to try out new things and do things that others might not do or try things that I have not experienced before. For instance, we woke up at 05:00, dressed up and ventured out to see the morning magical light hit the empty streets. Although my eyes usually hurt, and I have a little headache caused by the early wake up, we truly enjoyed the early morning calm during this visit to Florence. In the early morning, it felt like the city was “ours”. Luckily, our hotel Firenze Number Nine was centrally located, just a few steps from Florence’s cathedral and Ponte vecchio. This meant we didn’t have to go far to reach the main attractions. The morning we took the photos above, the guy at the reception was staring at us while we were stepping out of the hotel. I am sure he was wondering what two girls, dressed up like this, were doing at 05.30 in the morning! There was another Italian who asked us who was the bride. There was no bride, and no wedding. Just me and Edisa, once upon a time in Florence. ♥

There were many times in my life when I found myself waking up in the morning, only to run like crazy trying to catch the bus to get to work. In the meantime, I missed the simple joy of breakfast. From these not so pleasant experiences, a wish was born: a wish to have more mornings where I can get up with ease, have a shower, do breakfast, check the emails and enjoy a cup of coffee before doing anything else. This is what I would consider, my favorite morning, a morning without stress. In this blog post, I’d like to take you on a visual tour into what one of these favorite mornings would look like. To be honest, my typical mornings in Vienna do not always look like this photo essay…but many are, especially the weekend morning ones.
As you can see, a favorite morning does not necessarily mean it has to involve a three course breakfast. I’m perfectly happy when I have time to simply enjoy my daily morning cup of coffee, fresh fruits, and a croissant. This week, the people at Nespresso sent me their newest coffee creation, Envivo Lungo, to try out. The Envivo Lungo is a high intensity coffee. The long and intense flavor of Nespresso’s newest coffee make it an ideal drink for the morning as it surely will thrill your palate and stir your morning senses. Try it and let me know what you think.♥

This is definitely not a blog where you get your daily outfit inspiration. But we do love taking photos of exclusively beautiful things. With that said, replace the words beautiful things with the words Brooklyn dress, and you’ll get an idea what this blog post is about.
It was a bank holiday the day we took these photos. The weather was on our side. I dressed up and headed to Schönbrunn gardens for a walk together with my friend Edisa, who helped with the photos and the entire styling. Two girls, one photo camera, beautiful surroundings, and the Brooklyn dress from Madame Shou Shou.♥

Bucket bag: Le Violette

Darina had her birthday the day we shot those pictures, and that’s why I brought her a bouquet of red roses. She put them in the Léo et Violette bag and let me take some pictures of her while she held them. It wasn’t the perfect photo shooting day as it was cold and windy, nevertheless, we had a nice stroll around the city center.
I have been looking for a bag like this for a long time now. A bag with a shoulder strap that I can carry from the morning till late night, because I often leave home early in the morning and don’t return home during the day just to change outfit. Elegant and practical at the same time, the bag is perfectly sized, fitting my three essentials, wallet, keys and cell phone, plus sunglasses, a few cosmetics and my photo camera.
You will likely spot me around Vienna holding my new bucket bag, made in Italy ♥
