Paris Diary
Starting my trip to Paris wasn’t smooth. I got an email warning me about strikes in France that might affect my flight. Turns out, on April 9th, out of all the flights from Vienna to Paris, mine was the only one canceled. I had no clue what to do, being a first-timer with a canceled flight. I quickly learned to call the airline and ask for another seat. They booked me on a 7:00 am flight, meaning I had to leave home at 4 am. More bad luck followed when I found out my supposed direct flight had a layover in Frankfurt.

Thankfully, the staff fixed it, and I finally checked in. Exhausted from a sleepless night, I nearly collapsed upon arriving in Paris. But seeing the sunny skies above me, I couldn’t help but feel elated to be in the City of Lights for the third time in my life. These are the first snapshots from my Parisian adventure, a glimpse of what’s to come on The Viennese Girl blog in the days ahead. Follow along for more of my Paris escapades.
