The first thing that was making me super excited about Paris Fashion Week last March was the Cartier Press Event, and the second thing was the Afternoon tea at The Peninsula Paris.

At The Viennese Girl blog, we have a soft spot for a touch of sparkle and sophistication, and Paris is a treasure trove of such delights. Why keep them under wraps, anyway? It’s these little luxuries that keep us coming back. They’re a reminder of why I began this blog: to break away from the ordinary, discover enchanting locales, and dive into new adventures.
As soon as we arrived at The Peninsula for our afternoon tea, the rain started pouring down heavily. It was the perfect timing to seek shelter indoors. I settled into a cozy armchair and treated myself to scrumptious finger sandwiches and pastries.
As we sipped our tea and enjoyed scones with cream and jam, we managed to snap some photos discreetly. Despite our excitement, we made sure not to disturb the other guests in Le Lobby, although it was challenging to contain our enthusiasm.

The luxurious setting at Le Lobby, impeccable service, live music of the chamber orchestra, delicious pastries and two glasses of champagne. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Paris.
