Discovering the Heart of Volos

Volos is a lively city by the sea, right where the big mountain of Pelion starts. When I got there, I was drawn to the area by the water where people hang out. There are lots of places to eat seafood that tastes really good. I also visited a museum in Volos that tells you about the area’s long history. Walking around the older parts of the city, I found small shops selling things made by people who live there. I really enjoyed looking around Volos.

The Magical Mountain of Pelion

Pelion is a special mountain close to Volos, filled with green forests, amazing views, and small, pretty villages. I had a great time walking on paths, seeing lots of plants and animals, and visiting places like Portaria and Tsagarada. These villages are cozy and beautiful, with old stone houses and friendly people. Pelion feels like a fairy tale, and I really enjoyed exploring its natural beauty.

I found the most beautiful store in Skiathos town. Luckily, they allowed me to take some pictures for you (and for me to remember). The store is called Lalaro. Island Hopping in the Mamma Mia islands

Going to the Sporades islands was like stepping into a dream. I took a boat to visit Skiathos, Skopelos, and Alonissos. Each place was special in its own way. Skiathos was full of life and had busy beaches. Skopelos was quiet, with small villages where everything felt peaceful. Alonissos was beautiful and perfect for anyone who loves nature. I spent my days swimming in clear blue water and eating the freshest seafood. Every island felt like a picture from a postcard, making this part of my trip truly magical.

What is the most beautiful island in the Sporades?

Choosing the most beautiful island in the Sporades is really tough because each one is unique. Skiathos is famous for its fun beaches and lively places to hang out at night. Skopelos is more quiet and peaceful, with small villages and amazing views. Then there’s Alonissos, which is perfect for people who love being outdoors and in nature. It’s like each island has its own special thing that makes it beautiful. So, saying which one is the most beautiful is hard because they’re all special in their own way.

Volos might not be famous for its own beaches, but don’t worry, there are lots of great beaches not too far away. A quick drive can take you to places with beautiful sand and super clear water. Two beaches you should check out are Agios Ioannis and Horefto. They are perfect for taking a swim, lying in the sun, and just enjoying the lovely sights around.
