One thing is sure: I must be lucky. Attending the Chanel fashion show which took place at the Grand Palais on the 8th of March and sitting in front row only you must have a kind of good luck, I guess. Actually, I knew that the runway spectacle would be special, that’s why I booked a last minute flight ticket and landed in Paris a few days before the show. And it was the first time I attended a catwalk in Paris Fashion Week and hope that more occasions like that will bring me back to Paris, even if I have to look for a last minute flight ticket desperately.
I saw the runway through my Canon lenses where models such as Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Soo Joo Park among 91 others walked in front of my lenses wearing pink tweed suits, bowler hats, leather boots, biker gloves and Chanel pearls. Besides, I stumbled upon Pharrell Williams, Willow Smith and Grace Coddington, and personally met a very special girl from Australia, Nicole Warne.
I especially loved taking photos of the venue before and after the show: white carpets, beige walls, golden chairs, mirrors everywhere, a very impressive glass ceiling above us and the perfect light for photography. And what about the make up? I was impressed to find out that the quilted eye makeup was inspired by the iconic leather bag. That was really impressive and need to find a way to do that on my eyes too.
The CHANEL fashion show would be described in one word as mesmerizing and here, on The Viennese Girl blog, we only live for mesmerizing moments.♥
Jewellery: Fabrini (Petersplatz 10, 1010 Vienna)

Golden shiny mornings here in Vienna are made of pancakes with Nutella, a bunch of Xmas postcards and jewellery pieces from Fabrini.
Last Friday I found myself in a very cozy place, called Gelateria La Romana in the 7th district, talking about Christmas holidays and Christmas presents while taking photos with Tony Gigov. The Xmas postcards that you see are photos of mine that I printed and intend to send as Xmas postcards to some special people this season…
I just wish of more golden shiny mornings like this one…♥
London is the ultimate shopping experience, well-known for its boutiques, luxury brands, vintage stores and markets. Even though I didn’t visit London for shopping, I ended up buying a pink bag from Harrods, a skirt from old Spitalfields market, a parka from Primark and a floral dress from Camden Town. Best things are purchased when you have no intention to buy something, but find something super cute in front of you and just can’t resist.
In my photos below you can see my shopping experience: from luxury stores to vintage markets, I liked them all. What I believe is that you can find a fantastic bag which costs 1000 euro and a fantastic bag of 20 euro. Probably they will not be the same quality, but they can be both beautiful. I mean, it’s not the price that matters. Clever shopping is when you find beautiful things for good prices.
Personally, I am smitten with Charlotte Olympia, Kate Spade, Tommy Hilfiger, Massimo Dutti and Forever 21.

Well, after many grey cold days, sun came back to the Viennese sky yesterday. Jakob, who happens to be a talented photographer and a friend of mine, and I didn’t miss the chance to have a walk around the city. He grabbed his fantastic photo camera (which I am dreaming of having the same) and we snapped some beautiful pictures.
What I especially enjoy very much every time I write this blog is that I have to give a name to each post. I call this one Pandemonium because it is like an explosion of colours. The first photo of this post could have been taken somewhere in Brazil or Murano in the Venetian Lagoon, but no, it was taken in the centre of my beautiful Vienna.♥
What is in my beauty case? – I received one email and I was asked about the make up products I use and I thought I should write about it. Well, I don’t like make up that much, I’d rather say I avoid it most of the times, especially when I have to wake up early, I don’t feel like putting a lot of make up on my face. And I believe in natural beauty…!
Nevertheless, I will tell you about some products I use:
As a day cream, I use the “Make a difference plus +” from Origins, every day after I clean my face. Breakfast and day cream go together. This cream keeps my skin soft and hydrated. I first bought this product in Manhattan and fortunately I can find it in Vienna as well.
I am quite pale, so I believe I need a little bit of color on my cheeks. For that purpose, I use the Crème de blush No 2 from Yves Saint Laurent.
Fortunately not all beauty products are expensive. My favorite Volum’ Express Mascara from Maybelline is friendly to our wallets.
And now I am going to reveal my favorite lipsticks….
The No 97 Incandescente from Chanel…so sexy, hot red, french and classy! And the “Im-Passioned” from MAC cosmetics. I love them both. Two more lipsticks that I like are from Yves Saint Laurent: Rouge Volupte No 13 and No 11.
This products fit my colors and skin perfectly, and that doesn’t mean they fit you as well. Try them before you buy them.
Thank you for asking and never forget that happy girls are the prettiest girls and that all you need is a spontaneous smile!♥
